Magma Aviation - Keeping supermarkets stocked during the pandemic

weekly B747F flights from Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) to Dubai World Central (DWC).

The aviation industry has been one of the hardest hit industries by the Covid-19 pandemic. People were not allowed to travel and passenger aircraft were grounded. At the same time there was an increase in demand for freight transportation. The pandemic meant that there was huge requirement for PPE on top of normal goods.

Magma Aviation has been heavily involved in ensuring that goods continued flying throughout the pandemic. These vitally important freight deliveries meant that food was still on the shelves in supermarkets. An example of this was when Magma Aviation teamed up with Chapman Freeborn Airchartering to operate weekly B747F flights carrying foodstuff from Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) to Dubai World Central (DWC).

Work with companies within the ASG group meant that Magma Aviation were able to provide flexible bespoke options for clients and could adapt quickly as the world faced new challenges.
